A girl named Blue

Why that title for my website?

Partially because you get what it says - a girl named Blue.

But also because of something someone once said to me.

An older gentleman (who later strongly implied that he thought I was a call girl) drunkenly “flirted” with me by saying, “I know what to do with a girl named Blue.”

After I got over feeling dirty and creeped out, two thoughts came to me.

One: That would be an excellent title for my biography.

Two: I’m pretty sure you don’t know what to do with me because even I don’t know that.

So as I embarked on trying to figure out what I am going to do when I finish my masters in a mid-pandemic world, I thought I would write about it. As I write about trying to figure out what to do with a girl named Blue.
