Final Nano Check-in

I finished!

I Wrote 50k in UNDER 30 days!!

I won’t post my final few words on the Nano website until the 30th. I feel like it will somehow be more fun to get the certificate on the 30th.

I can’t believe I really did it!

God, this was so much fun.

The community around Nano is such an uplifting one.

I was able to make friends with several local writers at our weekly in-person writer’s group. We would do sprints together, chat, bounce ideas off each other, and encourage those who were struggling.

Then there was the online accountability/social side.

Both in Discord and on FB, I was able to have similar experiences with my fellow writers.

I wish this was something that could happen year-round.

Writing can be such an isolating experience.

I still can’t believe I wrote over 50K in a single project in such a short time.

I think I’m now a Nano girl for life.
