Finally Heading Home

So glad to finally be going home.

It’s been a crazy two weeks, weather-wise. I’ve had to reschedule my flight twice.

I’m trying to look on the bright side.

There has been more time to recover from my dental surgery.

I have more time to practice making challah for my family.

I’ve been able to repack my things to get more in my bags to take back with me.

I’ve been able to finish some small projects here.

But no matter how many times I list all the positives, I still just want to go home.

I miss my bed.

My friends.

And Scottish water.

I fly out tomorrow, and I couldn’t be happier.

I love my family, but I don’t feel like this is my home anymore.
