Landing in Dallas

I would like to know who moved Dallas to the sun’s surface?
It is ungodly hot!
It was -2 when I left Edinburgh this morning.
It is 30 here.
30!
In December!
(These are in Celsius; I don’t know what they are in Ferinhight. Below freezing and a temperature hotter than the hottest day of summer in Edinburgh)
I have clearly fully adapted to living in Scotland.
I am not cut out for this heat anymore.
Sometimes people ask me when I am moving back.
I had previously kept it as a possibility of something that might happen.
No more.
I cannot do this.
I am not built for it.
While I love my family, and I have missed the food, I think that spring here would hospitalise me, let alone summer.
Thank all the gods for air-conditioning.
