Lizzie Update

My play “A Bike Called Lizzie” is going to the Free Fringe!!!

Around February, we were told a very weak “maybe” regarding her going to the Fringe. They said they would get back to us if a space opened up.

Around the end of April, I had all but given up.

It wasn’t going to happen.

At least not this year.

And then, at nearly midnight, I got a call from Matt (my director) saying we were in!

We’re going to Fringe!

This time it won’t be my thesis; I won’t have a crazy short time to see my vision of over a year be realised. This time it’s something that we have made happen with grit and determination to show what we can do.

But now I have to dust off the last draft and turn what is currently a rambling train of thought into a one-person play I can be proud of.

In under a month.

No big deal, right?
