This Years Halloween Projects

So I feel like I have succeeded in many ways, and in other ways, I have completely failed.

It’s the end of the month and, therefore, the end of the Halloween season.

I was able to do a lot of work on my general autumnal decor; that’s never been better.

And I upgraded a few of my apothecary jars, so they look even more epic.

But mainly, I just bought some new pieces because I found so many on sale.

I found an epic cauldron with a candle in it (it’s a whole new shape for my collection and a pretty hefty size).

I also found some good quality cheap bones. Though I think I will want to paint them next year to look more realistic. I don’t mind this year as they were behind glass in my bookcase. But next year, I might want to set them out, which would mean that I would want them to look a little more realistic.

I mean, I was very productive with the whole PrepTober thing, so I can’t be too mad at myself. But I thought of so many great ideas to do this year with things that I already had - but I guess they all just go on the list for next year.

I also need to make notes to take before and afters because, for the last two years, I’ve written about “upgrading” my decor with absolutely no visuals to demonstrate what that means.

You hear that ADHD brain? Pictures. And FINISHED projects.

Goodbye, Halloween Season.

I’ll miss you.

I promise to do better next year.
