Can't Wait to See if it's Worth the G&T

This year’s Fringe has gotten off to a smashing start.
The first show I saw was Scherzo which was unexpected but a delight. The fun antics and the musical throughlines reminded me of Cirque du Soleil or Blue Man Group. It was fun and light-hearted, with loads of physical comedy that makes it a good show for a range of ages. I would give it a defiantly worth the G&T.
My second show was “Four Funny Feckers”. I can’t say whether or not the show is good because we had a cast that was pulled from other shows as the regulars were too hung over. The comedians that we had were great. And out of the five, four were indeed funny feckers, so the title held true. If they were any indication of the regular comedians, then I would say it would be worth the Gin.
The third show was my favourite so far. “Brain Hemingway” was funny and thoughtful, deeply theatrical, and it had two original musical numbers. The fact that it was about the writers’ creative process has nothing to do with my resounding endorsement. Out of all the shows I have seen so far, it is the current favourite for being worth the Gin.
I have tickets to see 16 shows this year and plan to see a few more. So I’ll post my ratings on threads with any longer reviews here.
Don’t forget to go see “A Bike Called Lizzie” if you’re in Edinburgh!
May all the shows you see be worth the G&T*
