Ice Hole -

It wins the Fringe. #worththegin

I can’t say much without giving things away, but if you are a director, costumer, or set designer, I would HIGHLY recommend seeing this show.

Importance of being… Earnest? -

Such a fun show and so hard to review. The evening we saw was brilliant, a great twist on the show that goes wrong. But since each night involves audience participation, no two shows are the same. Based on what I saw, though, I would say it’s #worththegin

Graveyard of the Outcast Dead -

The actors in this are so ridiculously talented. #worththegin for the music alone.

Bad Teacher -

Good, but MUCH darker than advertised. It hit harder because I wasn’t expecting it to get so heavy. It dealt with important topics and was relevant, but the blindsiding made it a miss for me. #ratherhavethegin

Garage Warriors -

This one shocked me. It’s so good! I knew it was going to be quality based on everyone’s previous work, but since this was a young production company and the first play by Lewis Aitken, I was expecting something a little rougher. It’s in the top three things of things I have seen thus far. #worththegin

Crash and Burns -

Another advertising mislead. Other than it being set during Burns night, it had nothing to do with Burns, despite what the blurb said. However, it was still a comedy - in fact, it was much funnier than I was expecting. #woththegin but also - have someone else do your blurb next time.

The Real William Shakespeare ... As Told By Christopher Marlowe

I went to see this one based on the playwright & troupe’s show in the Fringe last year. This show continued the winning streak for me. #worththegin

Rosie Holt: That’s Politainment! -

This was my first true disappointment of the Fringe. The pacing was all over the place, and the show tried to do too much in such a short window. This was even more disappointing because of how much I loved Rosie Holt’s previous work. #ratherhavethegin

The Extras Strike Back -

Loved this. The songs were fun the costumes were hilarious. But you need to be a DIE HARD nerd to get half of it. If you are, then it’s #worththegin, but if you’re not, you’d probably #ratherhavethegin

Photon StarBlaster -

It’s funny, it’s nerdy, and it touches on real issues. I absolutely adore this play. #worththegin
